Bible in a Year Project

During 2022, you are invited to join Trinity on a journey through the entire Bible!  We are excited to continue the momentum we built during the Red Letter Challenge–so let’s dive into the Word even deeper, so that we may be like the listeners of Acts 17:11, who “received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day….”  Psalms 12 promises, “..the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times,” and in John 6:63, Jesus tells us “the words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life.”  This journey through God’s Word will be a blessing to our lives and our faith!

We will begin our reading on January 1, 2022. To aid our reading, we will be using the Bible Project’s Bible-in-a-year reading plan. This plan:

  • provides introductory videos to each book of the Bible,
  • creates step-by-step checklists for daily readings,
  • maintains a record of progress, and
  • supports a discussion forum where Trinity participants can share thoughts  and questions with one another. Trinity’s ministry team will the active on the forums as well!

What do you need to do to get started? Look for Trinity’s newsletters and email–they will provide an invitation to join Trinity’s reading group. Simply click on the link provided and follow the instructions!

Once you’ve created an account and joined the group, you may follow the plan on the Bible.com website on your computer or by using the YouVersion Bible app on your mobile device–both methods will stay synchronized with each other and the Trinity group.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Dr. Heather Stueve, director of Christian Life and Family Resources through the link below.
