Because Trinity desires each of their members to claim the verse above as their own,
our family ministry is dedicated to encouraging and equipping families to grow in and live out their faith together,
so that a passionate faith is passed on from one generation to the next.

 

 

Milestones in our Faith

   

"In Baptism, sacred promises are made..." This line is included in the introduction of each of our Milestones. Every couple of years in the lives of our baptized children we all remember the promises that each of us made: God's promise to the child, the parent's promise to God and the child, and the congregation's promise to God and the child. Trinity is committed to keeping it's promise in each child's baptism by remembering and celebrating the child's baptism in front of the congregation and equipping the family with an age appropriate resource for that child's faith development.

Birth to 3 Ministry

Did you know that the foundation of a person's moral and value system is firmly in place by age three? What a vital opportunity to reinforce God's morals and values! But how? Trinity strives to help guide families through these pivotal years with age gifts celebrating their child’s baptismal birthdays and handouts with information on faith building activities to do at home.

Birth-6 months            6-18 months             18-30 months             30-36 months

 

Events

All Saint’s Eve Party- Saturday, October 31, 2015 (5:30-7:30pm)

A fun night for the whole family filled with food, games and candy!

 

Christmas Parade- Saturday, December 5, 2015 (Starts at noon)

Every year the city of Bend has a parade the first weekend of December. We have a wonderful team of people who help put together a float for our church. This year the theme is Christmas Themes that Make You Smile. Join us as we share the birth of a Savior with our community! (for more info on where to meet check out this postcard)

 

Celebration of Marriage- Sunday, January 31, 2016 (8:00am service)

Every year we take one Sunday in February to celebrate milestone marriages in our congregation. These are couples celebrating their 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, etc., as well as every anniversary after the 50th. If you have a wedding picture you would like to share, bring it in the week before and we will display it in the lobby and make sure it gets back to you.
